Pesticide Disposal Program

Visit the State of Montana webside for the Pesticide Waste Disposal Program for information regarding the disposal of your unused pesticides and annual waste disposal events. 

The Stillwater County Extension office is your resource for:

  • Livestock and Cropping Questions
  • Noxious Weed ID and Recommendations
  • Plant ID and Disease Diagnosis
  • Pest/Rodent Questions
  • Drought Management

Provide Services In:

  • Private Pesticide Applicator Licensing and Training
  • Forage Nitrate and Analysis Testing
    • The Extension Office uses Midwest Laboraties for forage analysis testing. Results generally take about 10 days and are sent via email unless requested otherwise. 
    • Forage analysis testing ranges from $18 to $40 (dependent on the type of analysis) per sample. We only accept cash or check. 
  • Ration Balancing for Livestock
  • Farm and Ranch Financial Management
  • Weed Seed Free Hay Certifications
  • On-Site Consultations
  • Conservation Trees (ordered through Montana Conservation Seedling Nursery)
  • Water Testing
  • Soil Testing
    • The Extension Office uses Midwest Laboratories for soil analysis. Results generally take about 10 days and are sent via email unless requested otherwise.
    • Soil Samples range from $11 to $65 (dependent on type of test) per sample. We only accept Cash or Check.
