Disability Services at Montana State University is dedicated to providing accommodations and support to students with disabilities to ensure access to all university programs and services. Our Accessibility Specialists have areas of expertise to best support certain needs, but have training to help all students registered with our office.
Disability Services Staff
Wendy Guido, DPT
Director
Wendy has a depth of experience working with individuals with disabilities in various roles including neurologic rehabilitation. She is passionate about improving accessibility across all aspects of campus to decrease barriers to higher education for individuals with disabilities. Wendy is responsible for overseeing the Disability Services team and coordinating efforts surrounding Section 505 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Brent Heuer, MA
Accessibility Specialist
Brent has training in Vocational Rehabilitation, and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). He works with students with more impactful disabilities, such as physical and sensory impairments. He also supports housing and dietary accommodations. Brent has been working in the disability services field for 15 years, and has served on the national Association of Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) board. He has been in Bozeman since 2023.

Courtney Griffin, MLIS
Accessibility Specialist
Courtney supports students with cognitive and psychological disabilities, as well as temporary medical conditions. She has been in Bozeman since 2015 and is an MSU alumna. She has worked for the university in several capacities, and conducts presentations and trainings across campus.

Sarah Heaton, BS
Program Coordinator
Sarah supports office operations, and coordinates notetaking and recording lecture accommodations. She heads our front desk and can assist with getting the Accommodation process started or answer any general questions you may have. She has been in Bozeman since 2019 and is an MSU alumna. She is currently serving on the board of the Association of Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) Northern Rockies chapter.

Request a Training or Workshop
Disability Services offers training on disability etiquette and accommodation implementation. These can include workshops or individualized presentations for specific groups upon request.
Use the form below to request training. When requesting training, please provide details on the group size, requested topic, and any additional information you believe is helpful. If you have preferred dates, include those as well. We try to schedule trainings on requested dates, but last minute requests are schedule dependent.
