Parking Services Expansion Request: Swingle Annex

In September 2024, Parking and Transportation Services relocated to the Swingle Annex. Since then, their operations have expanded to include paid tailgating and the CatTracks shuttle service, creating a need for additional office and storage space. Current conditions are cramped, with two managers sharing a single office and no dedicated area for 2 student administrative employees and 18 student shuttle drivers to stage activities or prepare for shifts. Storage limitations have also forced high-value equipment into offices and a restroom repurposed as storage. The recommendation is to allocate the vacant Swingle 101space to Parking Services to provide adequate office and secure storage space, with renovations funded by the department as needed.
