Montana State University Conducts Research Security Training through Canvas

The three courses provided:

1. Research Security Training (NSPM-33)
2. Controlled Unclassified Training (CUI)
3. Export Control Training

* Once you are assigned to the course, you will have access to all the above assignments and choose the assignment required for your specific job.

How to complete your assigned training

After being assigned to the course log into canvas and go to the Research Security Training Course (Figure 1) which would bring you to the training page (Figure 2)

For Research Security Training (NSPM-33) - Go to the Modules and then take the NSPM-33 Training and Quizzes

For Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Training - Go to the Modules and Take the CUI Training and CUI Quiz

For Export Control Training - Go to the Modules and watch the Videos, and take the quizzes

For Export Control Training (Tools and Training) - Required Videos to watch are Export Control Basics and Deemed Exports
