The Montana State University School of Music welcomes Montana composer David Maslanka!

Montana State University welcomes composer David Maslanka with a concert of his music in the Willson auditorium featuring faculty performers and the MSU Wind Symphony under the direction of Nathan Stark.

David Maslanka is an internationally renowned composer with hundreds performances worldwide. He has chosen to reside in Montana for its beauty and inspired by the nature. Maslanka’s music for winds has become especially well known. Among his more than 130 works are forty pieces for wind ensemble, including seven symphonies, fifteen concertos, a Mass, and many concert pieces. This performance will include a performance of his landmark composition, "A Child’s Garden of Dreams.”
