MSU Extension-Fallon County
We aim to keep our community members informed and educated. We will continue to share information and resources, in coherence with Montana State University, as they are made available to us.
What We Do
The purpose of Extension, much like the root of the word entails, means to "extend" or provide resources for local communities through non-formal, non-credit University research.
Montana State University works within our county in order to provide educational reasources to strengthen Fallon County's social, economic, and environmental well-being of our families, agricultural enterprises, youth, and community as a whole.
Without even stepping foot on their campus, MSU gives us the ability to provide expert knowledge through workshops, demonstrations, community meetings, publications, and respected programs. MSU Extension's partnership provides a network between Fallon County's community members and MSU's topic specialists.
Fallon County Extension is proud to provide services and programs in the following areas!
- 4-H and Youth Development
- Agriculture and Horticulture
- Natural Resources
- Community and Economic Development
- Family and Consumer Sciences
